Mark Kirchner has more than 17 years of experience with audio and video production technologies. As both a Pro Tools expert and certified Avid editor, Mark brings an encyclopedic knowledge of Digidesign technology and Post Production techniques to the classroom.

While Technical Marketing Manager at Digidesign, Mark directed and produced all of the company’s product information DVDs and videos. With his Avid expertise, Mark is uniquely qualified to teach techniques for moving media between Media Composer, Film Composer, and Pro Tools workstations.

Prior to his work in the Technical Marketing group, Mark was a Technical Support Manager at Digidesign for 6 years, leading the group responsible for supporting Digidesign’s post-oriented products.

Mark received a Technical Degree in Recording Arts and is currently the founder and director of Edit System Rentals, a production and rental company focused on the Avid and Digidesign production environment.
