Pro Tools 310P focuses on advanced techniques for fast and efficient operation of Pro Tools in a professional post production environment, and introduces basic techniques for configuring and troubleshooting Pro Tools systems. The course includes video-related examples that take students through real-world post production scenarios.

Topics include:

• Pro Tools HD system configuration and troubleshooting
• Explanation of Commands Keyboard Focus and keypad modes
• Collaboration workflows (OMF/AAF/MXF) and networking
• Understanding the V|10 and Mojo video options for Pro Tools
• Conforming linear and non-linear media with MediaStation|PT
• Layback techniques including speed correction (film to video)
• Recording Foley with Pro Tools
• Using advanced control surface features
• Using advanced routing and mixing shortcuts and features
• Post specific mixing techniques for film and broadcast

Upon successful completion of Pro Tools 310P students are eligible to take the Pro Tools Expert Certification exam. There is $495 additional fee for Expert Exam testing (approximately 8 hours).
